Everyone looks forward to celebrating Easter! Lent is a somber season of reflection that leads up to Good Friday and the joyous celebration of Christ’s resurrection on Easter. Palm Sunday is March 24th, the start of Holy week – we’ll have our 10am worship. This year we will be having a Maundy Thursday service at 7pm – March 28th in the sanctuary and then on Good Friday, March 29th, 4-7pm we will have ‘The Way of the Cross – with stations displaying objects that illustrate the Bible verses describing the events of Holy week. The stations are set up for personal meditation.
We are planning two services this Easter: a sunrise service at 7AM in the Chapel in the Woods, and a second service in the sanctuary at 10AM. In between the two services we are planning to have breakfast so be on the lookout for a sign-up sheet to help with breakfast. Easter is a joyous holiday and celebration that is at the heart of our faith and we hope to see you on that special Sunday.
