Noisy Change Challenge Update: Each quarter Chapel UMC focuses on a mission. Parishioners save their change for the quarter and then it is collected for the mission.
Our Third Quarter Noisy Change Challenge will be for “Sleep in Heavenly Peace” located in Geauga & Lake County. This organization builds bunk beds for kids who have never had a bed of their own. Our goal is to raise enough money to donate two complete beds ($250 per bed, includes bedding). The collection date is Sunday, September 29.
Thank you, people of Chapel UMC, for sending God’s love out into the world in significant and amazing ways! Noisy Change Challenge total for 2024 so far is $1,410 – $910 for UMCOR; $500 for The Mission Barn (UMCOR relief supply Network) in New Castle, PA. Stay tuned for information about a date our volunteers will be visiting The Mission Barn in New Castle, PA plus – please know that Deacon Katie Peterson, director of The Mission Barn will be here at Chapel UMC on Sunday, September 22nd to deliver a message at our worship service.
