Hey there Chapel Church people, it’s been a while since we had our last rummage sale, and we are going to do another one!
So, join us on Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23 from 9:00am until 4:00pm and let’s do this together!
We are planning on having it indoors, throughout the church, so we won’t have to worry about the weather. We will have a sandwich, chips & beverage lunch sale, a bake sale, and a communal clothing hallway sale, like we did last time.
This time, we want to try something different for the Fellowship Hall. We want to make this a social event – all of us together, with our own table(s), pricing our own stuff, and selling it. Buyers from each table will be given a bill and will make their payments to a central cashier.
Volunteers are needed to help with this project! We could use some extra help with setting up the hallway clothing area on Thursday, July 21st, and for packing up the clothes that are not sold and to take them to Goodwill.
We could also use some extra help in the kitchen, preparing sandwiches and getting the lunches ready to be sold. We will also need someone to oversee the sale of baked goods.
We need donations of food for the lunches and baked goods for the bake sale. There is a signup sheet in the church narthex for this.
We are reserving tables now and they will not cost you anything. In fact, each table will come with a free lunch. Gather your stuff and let us know how many you need. There is also a signup sheet for this in the narthex.
If you have things to sell, but cannot be present to man your own table, please let us know so that we can help you with that. If you have friends that would like to donate their stuff and are willing to participate in the sale, please invite them, but make sure they are aware that the sale is to benefit the church.
