Each quarter we collected our noisy change, dollars, checks, and any form of currency for a mission chosen by the Missions/Evangelism Committee. Thanks to the generosity of Chapel UMC, we collected and donated $756 to Project Hope for the first quarter, $750 to UMCOR for the second quarter, and $740 to purchase Buddy Benches for Madison Schools in the third quarter.
The Buddy Benches have been ordered and should be here in the next 6 weeks. Our total so far this year is $2,246.00 – Thank you Chapel Church! Our Next Noisy Change Challenge for the fourth quarter this year will be for Sub Zero Mission of Lake County.
The Missions Committee have arranged for anyone interested to take a tour of the Sub Zero Mission Facility on Thursday, December 1st at 11:00 am. We will need to let Sub Zero know how many are planning to attend so please let a Missions Committee Member know if you would like to go: Janet Vickery, Pat Cobb, Nona Brown, Judy Uehlinger, or Carolyn Means. Please plan to meet in the south parking lot at the church on December 1st by 10:30 am so that we may carpool to the facility.
The due date for the fourth quarter Noisy Change Challenge will be Sunday, December 25th, 2022.
