There are two options coming up in April. Lay Servant Advanced Class, Go Preach Pew to Pulpit, will be held in three sessions: April 12, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., April 13, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and April 27, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Lockwood UMC, 3680 Manchester Road, Akron, 44319. Also on April 27, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Mayfield UMC, 7747 Mayfield Road, Chesterland, 44026, several courses will be offered. Basic Lay Servant Training will run at the same time as two Advanced courses: Discover Your Spiritual Gifts and Lay Servants Lead in Conflict. Registration due by April 13.
