This Bible study developed by Pastor Lenore, examines the Book of Esther from historical, literary, and theological perspectives. Since the Book of Esther is the story upon which the Jewish festival of Purim was established, there is also a thread of the traditional celebration included in the study (Purim is March 23-24, 2024).
Join us as we contrast the movie “One Night With the King” with the actual Book of Esther and learn how the story applies to today’s Christian life both individually and in community. Call the office to register. All you need is a willing spirit and your bible!
