Anti-Racism Cohort Interest Survey

The East Ohio Conference is offering three opportunities for you to be involved in our work as United Methodists to Stand Against Racism. Make plans now to be part of an anti-racism cohort that offers a time for honesty and authenticity, vulnerability and courage, as we spend time learning, being accountable, coaching, and creating a safe space for intentional learning and sharing. It will be a time of discovering how to do the anti-racism work of re-telling our stories, building relationships and connection, and repairing and reinvesting with people in our past and current world. Cohorts will operate under a covenant of confidentiality.

The cohorts will meet virtually twice a month for three months and each session will be about 90 minutes. There may be a field trip or in-person meeting at the end. Each of the three cohort options need six to 12 interested participants before they can move forward. The cost of the cohorts is to be determined. The three cohort options are:

  • Fall cohort that would meet in September, October, and November of this year.
  • Winter cohort that would meet in January, February, and March of 2025.
  • Summer cohort that would meet in June, July, and August of 2025.

If you are interested in participating in one of the three anti-racism cohorts, please click the link below and denote which cohort you prefer. This is an interest survey, not a registration form.
